{"id":329,"date":"2021-08-31T22:52:00","date_gmt":"2021-09-01T08:52:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.skyloft.dev\/hosted-clients\/esandalaw\/?p=329"},"modified":"2022-06-04T22:53:19","modified_gmt":"2022-06-05T08:53:19","slug":"businesses-must-comply-with-safe-access-oahu-program-beginning-september-13","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.skyloft.dev\/hosted-clients\/esandalaw\/news-and-information\/businesses-must-comply-with-safe-access-oahu-program-beginning-september-13\/","title":{"rendered":"Businesses Must Comply With \u201cSafe Access Oahu\u201d Program Beginning September 13"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In response to rising COVID-19 cases, the City &amp; County of Honolulu \u201cSafe Access Oahu\u201d program takes effect September 13, 2021, requiring specified businesses to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Require patrons as well as employees and contractors to show:<\/strong><ul><li><strong>Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination<\/strong>&nbsp;(by hard copy or photo\/digital copy of a state-approved vaccination card, or a Hawaii state-approved digital\/smart device app), and<\/li><li><strong>Identification<\/strong>&nbsp;bearing the same identifying information<br><br><strong>Exceptions<\/strong>&nbsp;may be made for:<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Patrons with proof of negative COVID-19 test result from an FDA approved test taken within 48 hours, and supporting identification<\/li><li>Employees\/contractors with proof of negative COVID-19 test result from an FDA-approved test taken within 7 days<\/li><li>Children under age 12<\/li><li>Individuals entering and remaining on the premises for 15 minutes or less per 24-hour day<br><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Businesses which must follow these guidelines include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Entertainment and recreational settings<\/strong>, including bowling alleys, arcades, pool\/billiard halls, movie theaters, museums, and the indoor portions of botanical gardens, aquariums, zoos, sea life attractions, commercial recreational boating, public and private commercial pools, shooting\/archery ranges, and other commercial attractions (such as cultural attractions, go kart, mini golf)<\/li><li><strong>Restaurants\/bars<\/strong>&nbsp;offering food and\/or drink for on-premises consumption, including caterers, and &nbsp;businesses operating seating areas of food couurts. Does not include food service establishments providing charitable food services (shelters, soup kitchens, etc.)<\/li><li>I<strong>ndoor gym and fitness facility operations, and activities and group physical activity classes<\/strong>, including standalone and hotel gyms and fitness centers, yoga\/Pilates\/barre\/dance studios, boxing\/kickboxing gyms, fitness boot camps, and indoor pools.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oneoahu.org\/safe-access-oahu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;Safe Access Oahu&#8221;<\/a>&nbsp;will run for at least 60 days.
