Federal contractors who are required by the&nbsp;Vietnam Era Veterans&#8217; Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) to develop a written Affirmative Action Program (AAP) must also establish a hiring benchmark for veterans every year or adopt the national benchmark provided by the OFCCP, as part of their AAP update. National and state information for contractors who calculate an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dol.gov\/agencies\/ofccp\/vevraa\/hiring-benchmark\/method\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">individualized hiring benchmark<\/a>&nbsp;has also been updated in the database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Employers with federal contracts or subcontracts of $100,000 or more must comply with VEVRAA, which prohibits employment discrimination against protected veterans.
